Perfectly fitting surgical guide is mandatory for precise implant placements. Tooth supported guides are always better than completely tissue supported guides, hence we always try to keep a few teeth intact to support the guide for a full arch implant placement. These teeth will be extracted later. In this case these remaining teeth will also be used to give a fixed temporary bridge for the next 3 months as the bone quality is not very good for immediate loading of Implants.
